WHO AM I?

My name is Emma Larsson and I live in Uppsala, Sweden. I study at UPPSALA University
and I am studying Environmental Engineering. I studied abroad at Murdoch University and the best part of my exchange was all of my new friends that I’ve met!

THE BEST THINGS ABOUT SWEDEN IS

  • Fika= a Swedish tradition to sit down and have a coffee and some sweets at a cafe.
  • The beautiful winter landscape in dec/jan/feb.
  • Easy to travel to other European countries.

THE 5 BEST THINGS ABOUT UPPSALA UNIVERSITY IS

  • The city (a true student city)
  • The buildings/architecture
  • That you can bike between the different campus

MY ADVICE FOR YOU

My favourite thing to do in my university city/town is bike somewhere nice and have a picnic by a lake. You have to visit the big church (“Domkyrkan”). And you have to get a bike. If you decide to study at my university the best advice I can give you is get a bike! Make sure you don’t forget to pack your winter clothes if arriving in the winter. We have something called ‘Nations’ in Uppsala, which is places with cafes/clubs/restaurants with discounted prices for students.
