MY FAVOURITE THINGS TO DO

My favourite thing to do in my university city/town is skiing and hiking. You can’t come to my university city/town without seeing The Stubaier Glacier & the amazing view from the Nordkette over Innsbruck.

MY ADVICE FOR YOU

If you decide to study at my university the best advice I can give you is get the Freizeitticket (it allows you to use all skiing lifts in the area around Innsbruck and gives you access to the swimming pools in the city). Make sure you don’t forget to pack your skiing or snowboarding stuff/hiking boots. My favourite place to eat is Due Sicilie!! Machete has nice Burritos in the city, Walderalm has amazing Kaspressknoedel and the Kaiserstubn does not have good food but it’s open until 4am every day! My favourite place to go out is not in Innsbruck, but there’s some nice bars like Moustache & Kater Noster and you can see concerts at Treibhaus or Die Bäkerei. In Winter there’s apes ski parties & an Iglu party every Friday on top of the mountain, in spring there’s electronic music events right next to the river. My advice for someone coming to study at my university iscome in the winter semester to fully enjoy the alps and Christmas markets all around :) Also, don’t miss out on going to Vienna & other cities close by.
